Epi Tree

I dug a hole 24" deep in my little greenhouse and set a 'tree' -- actually a 12' cedar limb -- for vines to climb and epiphytes to grow on this winter. I found this idea online.

A potted syngonium and the night blooming cacti are in place, the syngonium to climb, and the night blooming cereus in big pots are hanging over and draping on the 'tree' -- there are 3 or 4 buds. I've never had a night blooming cereus bloom inside before.

Yet to collect and place are Resurrection fern and certain other ferns, mosses, lichens and Spanish moss, all epiphytes native here.
