You Should Be Here Next Week

Click for the big view.

The Garden isn't ready, but I made some pics anyway, since the puppy was willing to pose among some flowers.

Corydalis, the first azaleas, dogwoods not quite in full bloom with loropetalum, wisteria -- and did you see the very first orange California poppy which is coming on the heels of daffodils?

  1. Your garden's version of "not ready" is much more impressive than my garden's version of "ready."

  2. It does my heart good to see such a lovely garden in bloom at this time of the year. Mine still looks tawney with hints of green at the roots. Only the Chinese Elms have been blooming, to the misery of my nose and eyes, and their blossoms are inconspicuous to every thing except allergies.

  3. Lovely collage! Your puppy is growing!

I look forward to comments and questions and lively discussion of gardening and related ideas.
