Not Your Usual Pink Asiatic Lily

This is Elodie, a double pink asiatic, shown here with the ubiquitous Knockout rose.

  1. How do you plant your lilies, Nell? Do you plant them as bulbs and wait for them to grow up? How long before they bloom? Do they die down in winter and come back up in spring?
I have just had my very first yellow asiatic lilies, and I'm learning how to take care of them.
I love your color. I might start to look for them.

  3. Hi Nell,
Those are beautiful! I'd never grown Asiatic lilies before, but got some on sale last year after they had bloomed. I am excited to see they are about to open any day now.

I look forward to comments and questions and lively discussion of gardening and related ideas.
