Crapes and Crinums

Sure signs of Summer in the South, Crinum Lilies and Crape Myrtles.

Another rain shower this afternoon cooled the air and freshened everything green.

  1. I really love this lily! Still raining here, after a week of dark clouds and cold/wet days I am ready for summer :)

  2. That's a gorgeous Lily! My Crepe Myrtle is blooming now too, the hot pink blossoms remind me of cotton candy. :) Wish we were getting some of that rain, it's been hot & dry for weeks here. :(

  3. I have friends in both TN and KY and they often share pictures of their beautiful Crape Myrtles and yours is just as gorgeous. And those Crinum Lilies, I wonder if they grow in Zone 4? They're so pretty and don't look to be too tall. I'm not fond of plants that do a lot of flopping over, although I have some of them.
