It's a veritable bouquet coming up out of the ground! I love oxblood lily's sudden arrival, just when one has started to think that fall will never come.

I found you by googling for oxbloods; mine were so late coming up I was trying to get some good info on them to see why they were tardy.I see you have some lovely cypress (I call it hummingbird) vine; I like the way you are growing it on a stick house!Glad I found your blog, I'm going to read some more of your earlier posts.
We finally got some rain in Austin last week and my oxblood lilies all came up at once. For a few days, my garden is filled with waves of red. I think they are my favorite flower because when they bloom it means summer is over.
