Buffy Finds a Surprise: Hyacinths!

We first found the first daffodil to bloom that isn't solid yellow.

Buffy sniffed out some early pink hyacinths that I hadn't noticed before.

I was bemoaning not forcing hyacinths indoors. We got an early treat.

Clumps of yellow are showing up everywhere. It's going to be a Daffodil Spring.

  1. Well done Buffy! Can I borrow you? My hyacinths seem to have disappeared this year, maybe you can locate them!

  2. I'd be done there with Buffy. We are just looking a swollen buds on the daffodils, no flowers yet. But with a few more days as warm as this one was, it won't be long.

  3. Neil Jean,

These are looking good! I'm waiting for the real show in your garden, those dafs should be cranking up real soon.

Today in our garden a rock iris opened up. Some Ice Follies daffodils are blooming at Megs school, I saw them today.

  5. Buffy is looking all grown up!

My daffs are just barely poking up, nary a bud showing.

I am looking forward to seeing more of your spring bulbs.
