Promise of Angel's Trumpets

Brugmansia buds are almost ready to open. I could not wait to make pics, so here are buds.

A closer look at Strobilanthes in the previous pic.

A view of the stick house over Persian Shield and through Magnolia.

Secrets of a Seedscatterer

  1. I planted Angel Trumpet Seeds from Amazon and they seem to take a very long time to germinate. I love this plant. May not have luck this year. Love your blog.

  2. I get the same excited feeling when I see those long buds on my angel trumpet appear. They are such stunning flowers. Enjoy them when they open.

  3. I am a fan of this plant as well as the Datura (apart from its poisonous capabilities). The yellow is a lovely shade.

  4. Oh, how beautiful they will be when their blooms open! And what a wonderful fragrance, too! I lost mine to a hard freeze one year, but I keep thinking I need to replace it.

  5. Beautiful plants, and I like the stick gazebo too. Looks so peaceful in your garden.

  6. The Persian Shields are so pretty. I love this foliage. We will be waiting for pictures of those gorgeous trumpet blooms.

I look forward to comments and questions and lively discussion of gardening and related ideas.
